The two initially wanted to get married in 2020, but their wedding plans were postponed due to the pandemic. As a result, they turned their attention to raising a family, something Wendt said. People in May they had “spent a year trying” before looking for other options to get pregnant.

“We really did IIU [intrauterine insemination] before doing IVF [in vitro fertilization]. We did two cycles with that, “Loch explained to the publication.” IVF is much more intrusive, so we try to go that way at first and then during our second cycle we end up having an ectopic pregnancy. … I ended up having to take medication to terminate the ectopic pregnancy, and then it delayed our whole thing for another two and a half months. “

Wendt added: “We spent a lot of nights crying because we just didn’t understand why it didn’t work for us. Growing up, they always teach you not to get pregnant and it always seems so easy on pregnant TV. So you try it and it’s really complicated.”
