At the house on the cliff, Finn asks Jack what kind of man he is. “You are just a liar!” Jack urges him to get it all out so they can get through this and continue as father and son. “Because that’s exactly what we’re going to do.” Finn can’t believe his father’s impudence and screams that there is no way to get over his affair with Sheila Carter. He realizes that this is really Jack Finnigan and asks, “How could you live with yourself ?!”

Jack argues that he was protecting Finn from Sheila and that they wanted him desperately. His mistake was Sheila, and he will regret the adventure all his life with one exception … Finn. He didn’t want to blow up his family. Finn feels like he should have respected Li enough to let her decide what she wanted. She complains that Jack is breaking her trust. Jack begs for another chance. “You and Li are my world; my all. Finn, I love you. Very sorry. Please let me fix this. “
At Forrester Creations, Carter and Zende look at Paris’s headshots for the new brochure. Zende is glad to be able to talk about her, think about her, for days. He recalls that when his marriage failed, he decided to go back to his old gamer style, but Paris came along and checked all the boxes. Carter agrees that she is something special. Zende has no intention of losing her.

There is talk of Carter’s love life and he acknowledges that there has been a lot of drama in recent months … but not only has he survived, he is moving forward with optimism. Zende would like to see Carter find what he has with Paris, which is his future. Carter is surprised to hear him speak that way. Zende has no intention of coming back to life without her. Carter is happy for him and promises to remain a good friend to both Zende and Paris.

At the apartment, Thomas says that he knows this was unexpected, but tells Paris that if there is an opportunity for them, it is important that they explore this now before she commits herself. If there is an opportunity for them, you don’t want to miss it! Paris says this is unexpected and Thomas says it was for him too. He wonders if she feels the same way, but she thinks they should remain friends. Paris assures Thomas that he is smart, talented and not bad to look at, but that he is involved with his cousin. Thomas shrugs, “Nothing risky, nothing won.” If you hadn’t told him how you feel, you would have regretted it. “So now you know.”
Paris won’t say any of this to Zende; she doesn’t want things to be awkward at work or with them sharing an apartment. Thomas announces that he has made a decision: he is moving. You haven’t bought a house yet, but you’re moving into a really nice hotel room. Paris would hate to think that she feels uncomfortable with her now, and assures her that what he said will not be an issue between them. Thomas appreciates it, but it’s time he got his own place and let her make the apartment her own. This was always the plan. He admits he’s a bit disappointed that he doesn’t want to see where things could go with them, but wishes her and Zende all the best.

At the house on the cliff, Finn puts his arm around Li and asks Jack, “Who are you?” She doesn’t need him to decide what she can and cannot know about her own life. All those years he kept her in the dark. “You chose another woman, Jack!” Jack was young and made mistakes, but his love for Li and Finn is the most honest and real thing about him. Li launches, “You had a child with another woman! You never mentioned that you were Finn’s biological father, not a word! You must think I’m the dumbest! “Jack adores her. She flinches and warns him that he won’t be going back to the hotel with her.” The way I feel right now, I don’t know if I ever want to see you again. “

Finn demands that Jack respect Li’s wishes and accuses him of conspiring with Sheila … now he’s affecting everyone, including Steffy. “You’re the last person I want to emulate when it comes to family,” Finn rages. He will raise his children with honesty, not with secrets and lies. Jack sobs when Finn yells at him to leave, but he leaves.
