Meghan Markle and Prince Harry prepare to celebrate their second Thanksgiving together in the states, and the Duchess of Sussex just gave us a sneak peek of her family’s plans.
The mother of two recently visited The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where he talked about celebrating Halloween with Harry, Archie and baby Lili. So what’s on the agenda for the next vacation? A quiet meeting at home.
“I love to cook. We’ll be home and relax and settle in. It’s our second Thanksgiving at home in California, so it’ll be nice,” Markle said for People, before DeGeneres (who lives near the couple) adds: “What time should we show up?”
Last year, the couple celebrated their first West Coast Turkey Day as non-working members of the royal family.
We are not surprised that the duchess is preparing the food. Markle previously documented her Thanksgiving dinner on her now-defunct lifestyle blog, The Tig. She even shared a now-deleted photo of herself posing next to a cooked bird, along with the caption, “Oh, that time I roasted a pretty perfect Thanksgiving turkey! The question is, can I do it again? The pressure increases! “
Lili’s first Thanksgiving Day sounds like one for the books.
