Mother/Android Trailer Reveals Chloe Grace Moretz in The Batman Writer’s New Movie

The trailer for Mother / AndroidThe Batman screenwriter Mattson Tomlin’s new movie set to debut on Hulu on Friday, December 17, has arrived and it’s giving us our first look at Chloe Grace Moretz with a pregnant woman (Georgia) trying to survive the robot apocalypse. In the film, Moretz’s character and his partner, Sam, played by Euphoria star Algee Smith, are trying to reach Boston, America’s last safe city. Along the way, the heavily pregnant woman will have to defend herself against human-like killer robots as she tries to get to safety before giving birth. You can see the trailer in the video below.

Written and directed by Tomlin and produced by Matt Reeves, Adam Kassan and Rafi Crohn, Mother / Android is inspired by Tomlin’s own life. He had previously said that the film is a science fiction version of the story of his own parents who worked “to save their son amid the dangers of the Romanian revolution.”

The official description of Mother / Android is as follows: “Set in the near future, the sci-fi suspense drama follows Georgia and her boyfriend Sam through their treacherous escape trip as their country is caught in an unexpected war with artificial intelligence. Days before After the arrival of their first child, they must face No Man’s Land, a stronghold of the androids’ uprising, in the hope of reaching safety before giving birth. ”

While Tomlin has gained significant attention due to his work on the long-awaited The batman, previously spoke to while promoting Project power about his eagerness to make more original works.

“When you’re writing something original, there are no expectations of what it can be,” Tomlin said at the time. “So you can just do moves that other things can’t, and that doesn’t mean it’s better or worse.
