‘The Voice’ Contestant Shocks Viewers With Huge Fall

The voice Fans witnessed a real surprise during a contestant’s performance last night (November 23). While Wendy Moten sang for the coaches in the live episode, she ended up falling quite a bit on stage, leading viewers to fear for her safety. Blake Shelton’s team may have done well this week, but could this big drop be cursed? We hope not!

Moten had just finished his impressive group performance of Four Tops’ “Can’t Help Myself (Sugar Pie Honey Bunch)” alongside his coach and teammates Paris Winningham and Lana Scott. Suddenly, it seemed that the contestant had stumbled upon a band monitor. Her teammates rushed to her side, followed by some stagehands who helped the singer to her feet.

Shelton had already returned to his big red coach’s seat, but that didn’t stop him from standing up to help his apprentice. The coach flew back to the stage, checking to see if Moten was okay when host Carson Daly paused the show. Daly, who seemed shocked by the mistake, could not fill the tense and uncertain silence that filled The voice stage. Finally, he spoke.

Everybody okay? Take a quick second. Someone fell. We are fine? Give us just a second, everyone, to make sure we’re okay, ”Carson said. “We are clearing the stage. We have some people coming to help now. An unfortunate event for Wendy Moten. She leaves. We hope it’s okay. “

Viewers were left with sweaty palms as they waited for an update on Moten’s status. Fortunately, the contestant returned to the stage a bit later, the show must go on! She assured Daly and her fans that she was not seriously injured in the mistake.

“You scared us with that mishap on stage!” Daly said as he returned. “Nothing like this has ever happened to us.”

“I’m fine,” Moten said with a smile. “I’m a little bruised, but you know what? I’m still ready to go! “
