During Meghan Markle’s appearance on the daytime talk show on Thursday, she discussed her new life in California with Prince Harry and her children’s book, “The Bench.”
He also participated in a series of pranks on a prerecorded segment of the show. DeGeneres gave Meghan orders through a headset, which included eating “like a squirrel” and telling her that she had healing powers.
“It is not a way to behave. It was all a bit embarrassing. It was certainly embarrassing for the royal family,” Thomas told The Sunday Mirror. “It’s embarrassing for her too. I suspect she embarrassed everyone in the UK as well.”
“She is exposing herself as a duchess, but I have never seen a duchess behave in this way, doing stupid stunts,” he added.
During the interview, Meghan recalled the car she used to get to her acting auditions, a Ford Explorer, and said she had to climb up the trunk because the key had stopped working in the driver’s car door.
“The Ford Explorer that he had in his early 20s and that he mentioned was a well-functioning vehicle. I don’t recall a time when he had to crawl around the back to get out, as he said,” Thomas told The Sunday Mirror. . .
“The doors worked fine on that vehicle until the day he got rid of it,” he added.
Representatives for the Duchess of Sussex did not immediately respond to Insider’s request for comment.
