Tiffany was certainly not alone when she babbled profanity to a group of fans on Saturday.
The singing sensation of the 80s, who is now 50 years old, was caught on camera verbally abusing concertgoers at his show in Lake Park, Florida.
The former teen idol was in the middle of performing her biggest hit, 1987’s “I Think We’re Alone Now,” when she lunged into the crowd for an unknown reason.
“Fuck you guys,” Tiffany muttered into her microphone as she stood barefoot on stage.
The star then dropped another F-bomb before dragging something inaudible.
“This is my hit!” he later yelled at fans. “I’m going to sing it well!”
Tiffany then launched into a chorus of the classic track, which was deafening and out of tune.
The concert video is going viral online after being obtained by TMZ, and fans are alarmed by the performance.
“When this song pops into my head, it brings me back to a happy environment. Now what am I supposed to do? one asked in comments for the video on TMZ’s YouTube channel.
“Wait, I had to be doing that on purpose … it was too weird to be true,” commented another.
However, some viewers felt sympathy for Tiffany. “How many times have you had to sing that damn song … you must absolutely hate it to the point of night terrors!” one wrote.
Tiffany’s representative told TMZ that the singer “had lost her voice and was frustrated with her performance.” The website stated that she “had trouble hitting various notes during the concert, so it’s possible that the fans were picking on her.”
Saturday’s concert was the last of their US “Shadows” tour. The singer has performed more than a dozen shows across the country in the last month.
Tiffany did not directly address the controversy on her Instagram account, but hinted at some shenanigans in a post shared Sunday.
“Happy Sunday … I hope everyone is behaving,” he wrote below a selfie.
Tiffany (born Tiffany Darwish) separated from her second husband, British businessman Ben George, in 2018. The couple had been married for 14 years.
Meanwhile, Tiffany shares an adult son, Elijah, 29, from her first marriage to makeup artist Bulmaro Garcia.
Tiffany tried to emancipate herself from her mother, Janie, after becoming a household name in the late 1980s. The couple later reconciled.
Talking about her parents’ divorce during an episode of “I’m a celebrity … Get me out of here!” In 2018, Tiffany stated, “My mom was an alcoholic, she didn’t know how to speak for herself. They took my sisters, he had to work to get them back. They told me ‘Your family is going to ruin your career, so you have to make a decision at 14 or 15, otherwise that’s what you will be. Do you want that or do you drop them? ‘”
She continued: “My mom depended on me and my mom wouldn’t let me go, so I had to go to court. Family is family, but sometimes they hurt you; It’s not their intention, but they can do it, and sometimes you have to figure it out yourself. “
